Create & Connect

Create & Connect is a virtual program specially designed for adults (18+) with a variety of functioning levels. These inclusive group will help individuals work towards social goals, enhancing cognitive skills, improving speech, encouraging movement and learning music!

These VIRTUAL programs will be held using "Zoom" so that you can access it from the comfort of your own home at no additional cost from any of your devices. All you need to participate are some simple things from around your home (Check out our DIY instruments for some examples). The music therapist will incorporate popular and familiar songs to make sure all participants can join the fun!

This is an inclusive group for ages 18+. Participants do NOT need any musical instruments or experience. Participants can have a support person present if they choose. This group is geared towards addressing therapeutic goals such as enhancing communication, practicing social skills and improving cognitive skills.

During sessions Mariah and Hailey, board certified music therapists will lead activities such as;

movement to music
song writing
singing and vocalizing exercises
playing instruments
body percussion
learning basic musical concepts
active listening
