Stephanie Maxwell, MA, BMT, MTA

  

Stephanie Maxwell is an accredited music therapist in the Kitchener/Waterloo/Cambridge area. She completed her Bachelors of Music Therapy at Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia and completed her internship in Kitchener and Hamilton, Ontario. She completed her Masters of Arts in Creative Arts Therapies at Concordia University. Throughout these experiences, Stephanie has honed a humanistic, client-centred, and resource-oriented approach. Stephanie’s clinical experience includes work with older adults, children and adults. 


Stephanie’s principal instrument is the flute but she uses piano, guitar and other percussion instruments throughout her music therapy practice. Stephanie is passionate about providing music therapy services to promote wellbeing, to meet musical and non-musical goals and to facilitate connection. She provides music therapy services and music lessons to people of all ages. 


In her spare time, you can find Stephanie’s nose stuck in a book, dancing or playing tennis.
