Music Therapist, Part-Time, Contract 

Axon Music Therapy, Cambridge, ON

Axon Music Therapy (AMT) started in January 2016 to provide high-quality music therapy services to children, and adults with speech challenges, developmental disabilities and cognitive impairments. AMT has a studio space in the Hespeler area of Cambridge, as well as travelling to clients homes in the surrounding area. We are committed to following health and safety protocols and keeping our team healthy and safe is of utmost importance.

Part-Time Position (approx 12 hours/week with opportunity for growth)

In-home Sessions & In-studio sessions

Providing Music Therapy & Music Lessons 

What We Offer

Candidate Qualities 

· Bachelor or Masters of Music Therapy Completed or In-Progress

· MTA certification or MTA certification In-Progress

· Member in Good Standing with the CAMT

· Experience in music instruction

· Innovative and creative 

· Confidence and independence 

· Strong interpersonal & organizational skills

· Proficiency on guitar and piano

· Access to a reliable vehicle 

· Experience or knowledge of various diagnoses (e.g. ASD, ADHD)

· CRPO Registration would be an asset (but not required)
